| This is a photo of a Starfish from the Aquarium field trip. The starfish belong to the Phyla Echinodermata and the class Asteroidea. They come from the kingdom Animalia. The star fish has many characteristics which makes it similar to others in its class. They all have a flat , pentagonal or star shaped body, their endoskeleton is flexible and made of separate ossicles and They are commonly called starfish or sea stars. |

Remember it is a sea star not a starfish.
