Final Post
Biology 11 was a gigantic course and the chapters we studied had a lot of information in them. some of the new concepts i learned in bio 11 were how the animals and plants worked to survive in their environments. Some other stuff i learned were the special features in all the different plants and animals that we learned about. It was cool understanding how we went from learning something very simple like bacteria and then ending up into more complex things like animals and plants ( evolution ). What i found very interesting was the field trip to the Aquarium and the dissections we did at school. If i would have to change anything of the curriculum of biology 11 i would include and organize more field trips which would give an amazing experience to be with the animals right there. I would also extend the time for the Aquarium field trip we had because it was very fun and i wish we could of stayed longer. Other then that Biology 11 was an outstanding class and an amazing experience.

Squid
![]() |
The Squid belongs to the kingdom Animalia and its phylum is the Mollusca. The class that the squid belongs to is the Cephalopoda class. The squid is a very interesting Cephalopod. They use ink as an escape mechanism to get away from predators. The ink that is found in the ink sac can be used for writing which is really neat. The squids are the fastest swimmers of the invertebrates as well. |

This Arthropod is called a millipede. Arthropods usually have a short life span but millipedes aren't your average Arthropods. They live for a very long time. Millipedes were known to be the first animals to live on land.
